APEC University
Your project work such previous graduate studies, including
papers, books, articles, or written works that you have completed
will be recognised by APEC for transfer credits.
Similar transfer credit will be awarded for project work
that is a work in process; or is partially completed. You
can email your transcript or information on the major project
you have completed or are in the process of completing. You
will be advised the number of credits available.
APEC will allow transfer credits earned from graduate degree
programs or the equivalent, but only if the credits were not
already used to earn a graduate degree.
You can earn credits by writing one or more autobiographical
papers about what you have done and what you have learned
from your work and life experiences. Your extensive experience
in a particular area can also earn you credits. See ‘Your
Career earns you Credits’. With this type of customised,
practical course you can help and support others in their
learning by your written Paper, article, book chapter, website,
seminar, or video that can be a guiding light for another
person’s success.
You can customise your project work based largely on your
experience, and learned outcomes, in relation to a particular
subject area, in a particular type of work, profession, industry,
or any other area of your life.
Papers or book chapters for this type of custom course can
be autobiographical or you can discuss your experience with
your course supervisor in relation to a particular subject
area.
To learn how to write this type of paper we recommend you
read the book, “Quality and me”, by professor Philip Crosby
as a good example of how to write a paper on what you have
learned from your experience.
