Rural English Education
God Bless all the Children with an Education for they are life, the hope of all our hopes and through Education they can break the cycle of poverty.
The old-school’s raw wood polished bright by the bare feet of generations of children long departed the old school.
They saw a broken building and wanted to close the village school.
He saw the child, the family, the village and the hope of the Nation in a new School. “Arai keu quam pen Thai, Krup (what is Thainess)”?
Against the backdrop of the old; the new school foundations are laid.

Professionally designed, constructed and over seen the Dream becomes reality...

…the village is shown the value of a Child’s Education.

Walking to the Village’s New School.

Dr Pra Kru Prakob with two of the Main Benefactors who, among so many others, shared his Dream and gave out of their love and faith towards the cost of the new school.

Beung Bon Village School. “Open for Education”

Dr Pra Kru and the newly elected village Head Khun Gai, centre, welcome Mr. Terry Watson an Australian TESOL Teacher sponsored by APEC University to Beung Bon Village School.

Attended by an official and APEC University Dr Pra Kru introduces ESL Teacher Terry to the community.

Dr Pra Kru (he was named Nan ‘Beautiful Eyes’, while a novice) shares a joke with the villagers… Something to do with eating bananas ‘eeverryday’ …the village’s main produce), while introducing Teacher Terry. HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej and HM Queen Sirikit Photo is seen to the right taken on the occasion of HM 60th anniversary on the throne.

Two Aussies glad to be of service…

A smile is worth more than words can say.

Meeting some girls in the Computer room. Note the middle girl’s Wai.

Just how Good are these Beung Bon Students?

Much too clever for the “farang” (some say derived from the word 'France' with whom the Thai experienced early European contact).

How sweet it is…‘farang’s’ revenge…belting out ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, ABC, 123’…slightly off key; only to helps the kids concentrate, of course.

APEC’s gift to the Village School of books, school materials, blankets and pillows.

Relative value for Beung Bon Village School –v- the cost for Suvarnabphumi international airport lies between the numbers, 11,538 and 19,230 of potentially new schools, hospitals etc. (Per Beung Bon school cost relative to the airport costing band).
