“I was looking for a rainbow for many years hopping to complete some course that would lead me to find my pot of gold. I had tried the traditional schools and my Mom and Pop had given up on me ever making something of myself after so many false starts, as it were. As I got older and less full of illusions, I discovered that I was not dumb; the schools where I had been attending were dumb. I mean, I would roll up full of this passion to go for it and the lecture would be on some obscure stuff that would just plain bore me ‘s…less, man’. Because it had no relevance to me and my self esteem would just go Bam! Like what’s the point? It looked like they wanted me to do this stuff just to graduate and then I would learn about what the real world needed in the Great University of Life, out there man. I mean c’mon. Hello. Hello.
So, after some time and introspection I decided to do what I should have been shown at the more traditional U’s by taking charge of my life and in particular my education. A friend, Jo Sternberg, suggested I look at APEC U online programs and the rest, as they say, is history. No regrets, I did my MBA my way completely online from an accredited university that certainly gave me value for money, according to my schedule, with no requirement to give up my work or weekend time.
